FAI gets Fiat/Alfa vehicle sponsorship

6 September 2002: Fiat Auto Ireland has become the official vehicle sponsor of the Football Association of Ireland and will supply Doblo Cargo vans for the Association’s Regional Development Officers and Alfa Romeos for key personnel. Fiat Auto Ireland Managing Director Michael Howe said that this new sponsorship agreement provided great opportunities for both parties. He said that he was especially pleased to see so much in the new agreement focused on the Regional Development Officers, in view of their vital role in building for the future.

Milo Corcoran, President of the Football Association of Ireland said that the Association wanted to use the opportunity of the new sponsorship to step up its drive to attract even more young people onto the playing fields as part of the build-up for the future.
