All terrain association established

17 June 2004: An All-Terrain Vehicle Industry European Association (ATVEA) has been set up to promote the correct and responsible use in what is the fastest growing sector of mobility in Europe.

The other main objectives of the Association are to contribute to the development of an appropriate legal and regulatory framework regarding the design and use of ATVs at European and at national levels and to contribute to ATV user education and training.

Total European market for ATVs last year was 90,000 with predictions that the market will increase significantly over the next 5 years.
