Volvo XC90 tops Auto Express honours

24 July 2003: The Volvo XC90 has been selected Auto Express Car of the Year 2003 as well as ‘Best 4x4 Off-Roader’ in the magazine’s annual New Car Honours.

Volkswagen's compact MPV Touran claimed the title of Best MPV, and the New Beetle Cabriolet was named Best Convertible.

For the second year running, the Nissan X-TRAIL was voted the Best Recreational Vehicle.

Honda's Jazz received the Supermini award for the second successive year while the new Accord took a double award, with the saloon winning the Family Car category and the Tourer taking the Estate Car title.
