New coach schedule intercity

10 May 2004: A new high-speed luxury coach service between Dublin and Cork will be in place before the end of May, and will run every two hours from 6am leaving Dublin to 8pm leaving Cork.

The service is being operated by John O'Sullivan (above), founder of Aircoach, the Dublin Airport to Dublin City operation that revolutionised that service for air travellers in and out of Dublin.

An estimated €20 single or €30 return is being mooted. The service will stop outside the major towns on the route, on request, but will not enter the towns. The run between the two cities is expected to take 3-3.5 hours.
