Kilkenny woman wins Peugeot in cancer lottery

3 July 2002: The winner of a Peugeot 206, first prize in the Conquer and Care Lotteries charity lottery, is Mrs Sadie Hennessy from Ballycallan in Co Kilkenny.

She was presented with her car by Barry Dempsey, chairman Conquer and Care Lotteries and chief executive Irish Cancer Society, at Morrissey Motors in Hebron Industrial Estate, Kilkenny.

The 3-door 1.1-litre Peugeot 206 is a china blue colour, and featured remote central locking, immobiliser, dual airbags, power steering, radio/CD player and remote control as standard.

Mrs Hennessy bought the winning ticket in Kilkenny city. She's pictured with Shane Langton, Sales Manager at Morrissey Motors, Hebron Industrial Estate, Kilkenny and Barry Dempsey, Chairman Conquer and Care Lotteries and Chief Executive Irish Cancer Society who presented the prize.
