C5 prices announced

02/10/04: by Trish Whelan — Citroen Ireland has issued specifications and prices for the upgraded Citroen C5.

The range is available in a choice of five powerplants. The petrol range starts at 26,000 with two derivatives of the 1.8 litre 16v 117bhp engine in SX and VSX trims and an automatic transmission offering with the 2.0 litre 16v 145bhp VSX model.

In terms of diesel powerplants, the New C5 offers a choice of three new-generation HDi common-rail engines developing between 110bhp and 138bhp. Prices for the diesel range start at 28,500 for the new 1.6 litre HDi engine.
