12 April 2002: Citroën have extended their customer cash back deal until the end of June next. Buy any new Xsara car and get a cash back cheque for 750 euros or buy any Xsara Picasso MPV and get 1,000 euros cash back.

This offer is available on the Xsara Car range which retails from 17,600 euros for the 1.4 VTR Coupé and the Xsara Picasso MPV range which retails from 22,050 euros for the 1.6 litre. A Xsara sports kit is available on the 1.4 litre VTR model for an extra 1,537 euros and includes side skirts, front and rear bumpers and alloy wheels.

“Our combined market share for both cars and vans now stands at 3.7%, which is up by almost 13% on the same period in 2001,” says Paul Cregan, Sales and Marketing Director of Gallic Distributors Ltd., the Citroën importers in Ireland.. “Xsara registrations have increased by almost 15% on the same period as 2001 in a segment which is down 6%, and sales of the Xsara Picasso MPV are showing an increase of 52% for the first quarter of 2002.”
