
19 November 2002: Gallic Distributors Ltd, the Citroen importers in Ireland have just awarded the title of Citroen Consultant Technician to the first four technicians who completed a comprehensive training program designed in conjunction with Citroen Paris.

This Consultant Technician program is now in operation in most European countries and aims to give Technicians the necessary skills to carry out their Dealership duties to the highest standards.
The course duration is 24 days. Technicians are trained in all aspects of Citroen vehicles including the use of on-line diagnostic equipment, customer handling skills, Laser (Citroens computer data base of technical information), and tyre wear and damage analysis. These key technicians are trained to pass on their technical expertise to their fellow Dealership Technicians.
Gallic Distributors intend to have a Consultant Technician in place in every Citroen dealership in 2004.
