Xsara upgrade for 2003

29 January 2003: We don't know just yet when it becomes available in Ireland, but the 1.4-litre HDi diesel engine already in the C3 and the Ford Focus, as well as a couple of versions of the Peugeot 307, is on the cards for the Citroen Xsara.

There are also a couple of styling enhancements both outside and in, with a redesigned front bumper, holding fog lights as standard and a grille with chrome inserts.

The Xsara’s cabin benefits from a brighter feel, with a lighter coloured dashboard and the use of new upholstery and trim, whilst numerous aluminium or chrome effect touches now feature on the sills, vents, dials and other areas depending on model.

Interest in the range has been heightened recently thanks to the incredible Citroën Xsara WRC 1-2-3 win in the first round of the new World Rally Championship season in Monte Carlo.
