Kalos comes to market in September
1 August 2002: The all-new Daewoo Kalos will enter Western European markets in September 2002. Initially available as a five-door hatchback, the Kalos was designed by Italdesign in Turin.
Initially, the Kalos will be available with a 1.4-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine developing 83bhp.
Safety system of the car include ventilated disc brakes at the front. Despite its compact size, the Kalos offers a lot of space, resulting from one of the longest wheelbases in its super mini class and the high roofline which provides above-average headroom for the rear seat passengers.
The New Kalos will be arriving in Ireland at the end of September and will be available through Daewoo’s nationwide dealer network.
