Lacetti launched in Ireland

29 March 2004: Daewoo Ireland has launched its new Lacetti hatchback in Ireland, filling a gap in its new range between the Kalos and the Nubira.

The Lacetti has an entry-level 1.4-litre engine outputting 93bhp. Other engines which will be available later in the year are a 109bhp 1.6-litre and a 122bhp 1.8-litre.

The price of the Giugiaro-styled car starts at €16,995 and when it comes available, the 1.8 CDX will be €20,995.

Daewoo Ireland also announced the availability of the 1.4-litre engine in the Nubira saloon, priced from €16,995-€17,495.
