11 November 2002: Drivers are more susceptible to distractions inside the car than those coming from outside it, according to a study of motor accidents in New South Wales, Australia.

The researchers found that the susceptibility to distractions were across all ages.

The exploratory study came on the back of suggestions that driver distractions have been suggested as a contributor to traffic accidents.
