Sling Shot to revive Dodge in Europe

24 February 2004: A 2-seater sports car built on the Smart Roadster architecture may carry the Dodge revival in Europe between the new generation Dodge Viper.

The Sling Shot shown in concept form at the Detroit show is being considered for production for Europe only.

The new Viper is being introduced this year, and a number of other Dodge-badged vehicles are due from 2006.

The Sling Shot could be in production a year-and-a-half after a decision to go. The concept was powered by a 3-cylinder 100hp engine.
