Mercedes tops 'dream machine' poll

1 March 2002: Men and women drivers in a survey have named the Mercedes-Benz brand as their dream car.

Second and third choices for women are BMWs and Audis, while men want Jaguars, Porsches and Ferraris.

Silver is the most popular colour of a woman's dream car, followed by blue, red, and then black, while men like black and blue equally, followed by silver and then red.
