Ducati opens new Dublin showroom

15 May 2003: Ducati, known as the "Ferrari of bikes", has opened a massive new state-of-the-art store in Dublin after its first outing in Ireland proved successful. In 16 months, Ducati has gone from a 500 sq ft show room in Terenure to this new 5,500 sq ft store that incorporates a 1,200 sq ft workshop.

To coincide with the launch of the new store, Ducati is also launching its new Multistrada 1000DS in Ireland, which was unveiled at a global press launch earlier this year.

Helping to launch the new store and the new Multistrada were Shane "Shaky" Byrne, who currently leads the British Superbikes Championship and models, Glenda Gilson, Andrea Roche and Elaine Carroll.

Claudio Tamburini, Managing Director of Ducati Dublin, said the company will now be able to offer our customers more choice and better value.

The new Multistrada 1000DS is a new generation sports bike that delivers Superbike performance.
