New Ferrari Scaglietti replaces the 456M

17 October 2003: A new Ferrari replacement for the 456M is dedicated to the memory of one of the company’s legendary designers, Sergio Scaglietti.

The 612 Scaglietti has an all-aluminium spaceframe body and chassis construction, and is powered by a nominally 6-litre V12 which generates 540bhp.

The 612 Scaglietti, which has been designed by Pininfarina, offers the choice of manual or electro-hydraulic operated 6-speed gearboxes. It does the 0-100 km/h in 4.2 secs.

The car is a 4-seater, complemented by a 240-litre luggage space.
