A Ka with a summer attitude

23 May 2002: Ford Ireland is introducing a limited edition Ka model in anticipation of summer sunny days and outdoor pursuits.

The Ka Mistral comes dressed in metallic paint in three limited edition colours – silver, metropolis and magnum. It has a power sunroof, and ICE 6000 CD player, alloy wheels, altogether extras worth over 1200 euros, at an on-the-road price of 11,750 euros.

“The Ka Mistral should attract young mobile drivers in particular - they will be getting a lot of equipment, with a lot of style, for their money,” says Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director, Henry Ford & Son Limited. “There are more big plans for Ka brand later this year, with a number of sporting derivatives in the offing.”

The Ka Mistral joins the LuxuryKa and Ka Collection in the model line up. For the summer season, the latter is available with an electrically foldable roof as an option for 962 euros.
