10 August 2004: Drivers in Glasgow claim that the traffic light system in the city is being deliberately manipulated so that operating a car is more of a pain.

They say the city's traffic controllers are doing this to boost the appeal of public transport.

The allegations have been made by an employee from Glasgow's Centrally Integrated Traffic Control traffic management system.
