2 August 2002: Mazda's distributors in Ireland have released full details of the Mazda6 range which will all be available in Ireland by September.

Both the saloon and Hatchback models are now on sale in Mazda dealers here, with the Sports wagons available by mid-August.

The range includes saloons, hatchbacks, wagons and diesels.

Introductory prices are: 24,640 euro for the 1.8-litre saloon (120ps) Comfort; 25,340 euro for the hatchback 1.8-litre (120ps) Comfort; 26,340 euro for the 1.8-litre Comfort wagon model.

Diesel engines start at 27,340 for the 2.0-litre Tdi (120ps) Comfort saloon; 28,040 euro for the 2.0-litre Tdi Comfort Hatchback; and 29,040 euro for the 2.0-litre Tdi Comfort Wagon.
