Nissan launches new version of Terrano

25 June 2002: The new Terrano has been changed both externally and internally. All models feature a new look and styling, a host of minor improvements and are powered by a 2.7-litre diesel engine.

The new commercial vehicle version is priced at 29,900 euro (including VAT) which represents a price increase of 400 euros over the outgoing model.

Air conditioning, a CD player with steering mounted audio controls, driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, active headrests, new luxury trim and two tone paint work along with some other design changes are now standard features in the new model. The total retail value of this package is at least 2,000 euro.

The equivalent passenger estate model is priced at 39,966 euro for a full 7-seater passenger model offering the benefits of a proper 4x4 vehicle with passenger car levels of comfort.

The ‘touring’ model which comes with leather seats and solar glass, will arrive later this year.

Commenting on the launch, Gerard A O’Toole, executive chairman of Nissan Ireland said: “The Terrano is one of the most popular 4x4 vehicles available in Ireland and the latest version is set to consolidate this position. This new model is simply unbeatable in terms of performance and value for money. The new Terrano is a fitting addition to our comprehensive range of 4x4 vehicles.”
