Bluebird still flies

31 May 2004: The Nissan Bluebird nameplate, which disappeared in Europe with the arrival of the Primera, is aloive and well and thirving in China.

The Bluebird is one of the models being produced as part of a joint venture with the Japanese company and the Dongfeng Motor Corp.

The Sunny is also being produced there, competing in the world's fastest-growing market against VW's Golf and Bora.
