Nissan scores double tops

3 May 2002: Figures released by the SIMI for March 2002 show the Nissan Primera and Almera are now officially Ireland’s top selling cars.

The brand new Primera (above), launched on 1 March this year, has become Ireland’s best selling car and accounts for 5.5% of the total new car market. It is closely followed by the Amera (left) with 5.2%.

The results have helped consolidate Nissan’s Number One position as Ireland’s top selling marque in March, says Paul O’Sullivan of Nissan Ireland.
