Nissan sponsors 'Right Hook'

08 May 2003: Nissan Ireland is to sponsor 'The Right Hook' drive time programme on Newstalk 106. The one-year sponsorship agreement will be supported by an extensive outdoor advertising campaign. Nissan branding will be carried on the show's print material and will feature on its website

Gerard O'Toole, Executive Chairman, Nissan Ireland said the company likes to take on sponsorships which complement the Nissan brand.

"The Right Hook as well as the Nissan Irish Open golf championship are prime examples of such complementary partnerships," he said. "The Right Hook is a show that is continuing to attract more and more listeners. We believe that its success is due to the mix of lively debate and humour which George Hook brings to the programme and we look forward to working closely with the Right Hook team."
