2 April 2002: Opel vehicles are the stars of one of main attractions at the new Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Resort in Paris. The ‘Stunt Show Spectacular’ features a special ‘hero car’ designed by Opel being chased by six Corsa GSis through the streets of a ‘Mediterranean Village’.

It’s the largest live stunt show ever presented at Disney and ‘bit’ parts are played by a number of other Opel cars, including the Speedster, Zafira, Vivaro, Agila and Frontera.

GM Europe and Euro Disney signed a partnership agreement last November making Opel/Vauxhall the official automotive partner of Disneyland Resort Paris from mid-April. Under the deal, Opel will be the lead supplier of the resort’s vehicle fleet and Opel/Vauxhall brands will be featured throughout the Disneyland Park.
