British PAG brands to merge

30 November 2001: Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin are to be merged in a reorganisation of the Ford-owned Premier Automotive Group. Management teams in the group are examining how to combine in areas such as engineering, platforms, powertrains, design, manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing.

The three brands will combine their engineering operations at Land Rover's Gaydon headquarters in England. In addition, the three brands' design teams will work from the same styling studio in London.

Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin operations have already been combined in North America and Japan. TW
