Whoops! ... and whoops! again

13 January 2004: A woman in Germany attempting to reverse out of her parking place caused more than €100,000 worth of damage.

The incident happened on the upper level of a multi-story parking in the southwestern town of Kirchen. Initially the woman in an Audi wrote off a parked Nissan and damaged a Mitsubishi.

The driver then accelerated forward, speeding through her original parking place and drove over a low protective wall, ending up some six metres down on to a lower level of the car park ... where her Audi landed on a Renault, hit a Citroen and finally came to rest on its roof.
