22 July 2003: Peugeot has a new summer special promotion for its 206, the limited edition 206 Midnight. Only 400 units of the Midnight will be available.

Prices for the new model begin at E14,145 for the 1.1 litre petrol 3-door version and rise to E14,545 for the 5-door version.

Standard specification includes electric front windows, front fog lamps, remote central locking, remote control stereo/CD, sports front seats, front sports bumper, honey-comb grille, aluminium tipped gear lever, driver/passenger seat (with deactivate switch) and transponder immobiliser.

Peugeot's Sales and Marketing Director Mark O'Connell said the Midnight is arriving in Ireland at a time when the 206 range continues to enjoy the highest registrations in its segment in Europe, having been the biggest overall seller in Europe in 2001 and 2002. "The Peugeot 206 also continues to have the highest resale value in its class in Ireland," he said.
