Subaru gets 5 Ozcrash stars

26 April 2004: Subaru's new Legacy saloon and Sports Tourer and Outback crossover models have been awarded the Australian equivalent of top safety ratings.

They received the best-ever five-star crashworthiness ratings by the Australian New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP) after a series of crash tests.

ANCAP is backed by all of Australia's motoring organisations and statutory transport bodies.
