9 November 2001: The irishcar.com Environmental site, 'Volvo for Life', produced in association with Volvo Cars Ireland, is now fully on-line, after a pilot site was put up on the net earlier this year.

The new site will provide a variety of news and views on environmental matters, under automotive, 'our living space' and educational headings.

The site, which is standalone on the irishcar.com domain, is accessible by clicking on the Volvo logo on the top right of the page. Like irishcar.com's main car news site, it is envisaged that it will be updated very regularly, often on a daily basis.

The 'Volvo for Life' site will become a resource for all who are interested in a wide variety of environmental issues, and it is planned to have interactive competitions and be proactive in having schools environmental projects undertaken.
