According to manufacturer of windscreen washes and de-icers Decosol, motorists risk injury 'through laziness' by not making sure their windscreen is as clean as possible before they set out on a journey.

The British-based safety organisation Brake! says one out of five drivers don’t always bother to ensure windows and mirrors are clear before setting off. And the RAC says 'a few seconds checking their vision is clear really can make the difference between life and death'.
